Tabaski

Bakra Eid, Bakrid and Eid al-Adha is the second of the two major Muslim holidays, and means ‘Feast of the Sacrifice’. Also called Tabaski, it honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God's command. These photos were captured in Parakou, Benin.
